Sales analytics, sales and marketing analytics, sales management
Some of the most important data you will ever collect to help your business grow is the sales data. This refers to the sales that you have made and the cost that was associated with those sales (including development, production and marketing).
By looking at sales analytics you can discover the products or services that are yielding the most profit for your business and will also show you which areas are costing you money and yielding no results.
Sales and marketing analytics focuses more on the profit from the sales compared to how much money you have spent on marketing the product. If you are making more money that you are spending on marketing then this is a good sign. You can test multiple marketing campaigns and discover which campaign works best and brings in the most money.
When you can easily view the analytical data and see the market and sales trends then you can use sales management to manage how you do your sales. Make this process more effective and you are likely to increase the amount of products you will sell.
Always use analytical data to study marketing campaigns and to study the market trends of your customers.
